K-7 Flash Output Control Last Updated: Tue Jun 09 11:38:27 -0400 2009
Q: Is flash output control done using a pre-flash, and if so, how many pre-flashes are used?
A: Yes, a pre-flash (P-TTL) is used to adjust flash output. When using the built-in flash or an AF540FGZ, AF360FGZ, AF200FG or AF160FC with the flash mode set to [P-TTL auto], the flash will fire a single pre-flash and the actual flash output is adjusted accordingly. *Available only when using DA*, DA, DA L, D FA, FA J, FA, F lenses (or A-series lens set to A position).
