The LCD Goes Black When I Connect My Camera to a TV (Optio E80)

Q: When the Optio E80 is connected to a TV, why does the image no longer appear on the LCD monitor?

A: This is normal. The camera's LCD monitor is inactive when the camera is connected to a TV.
